Review: If this movie the wrong director has been given, it would be incredibly extravagant. As a comic reader I know there are some things that work in a comic page, but not in the movie and let me say that the costumes are one of those things that in all probability not will work. The singer decided to go with an outfit of black leather and I am, for my part, very grateful for that selection. There are many things in this film that works, but unfortunately, there are few things so that prevent the movie from being truly great.Lets start with things that work. Acting wise the movie is very good. This is mainly due to some superb cast. Hugh Jackman as Wolverine just perfect and shows the duality of nature in a very satisfactory manner. There were scenes that we see a glimpse of rabies in character very well. The only thing you can say about it is that it is too high, but it seems that most people, including myself, have accepted this fact. I also think that was the right choice for the relatively unknown actor for the role, because this way we do not have preconceived notions about it. As for Professor X none other than Patrick Stewart can not / should play. Stewart just gets Xavier in the presence of voice and appearance. An example of perfect casting. Ian McKellen as Magneto is brilliant and managed to create a human villain, and noo cliché ever? as we see the villains in Hollywood productions. Act than mentioned above are very good. Not spectacular, but good. The only one who does not look and act like the character we know from the comics is Anna Paquin who plays Rogue. The character is nothing like the comics and performance Paquins failure character. When it comes to music and sound throughout the film label above average effects. The musical accompaniment is very big, even epic feel to it, and it suits the movie very well. The result is as memorable as the review of Batman (1989), but it is very appropriate. As for the general sound effects, which are both very convenient and probably adding to the overall authenticity of the film, which is significant. Wolverine claws make sound when go exactly as I imagined. Very well done. Effects in general are also very well done. Not as good as Spider-Man, but still very good. Much attention has been paid to make an impact, it seems plausible that possible and I see where they work. The only character whose strength I did not believe it was a sapo. Ray Park is a great athlete, but many of his stunts look obvious wire work. This is a common complaint I have is some vision rehearsing action. There are, however, some interesting well written story scenes and acceptable. The overall performance and dialogue so witty and sharp. A particularly important dialogue between Wolverine and Cyclops (James Marsden) part is very interesting and, if appropriate comics. Where I feel that the story has a climax that I'm afraid to say, a little silly. Magneto plan for world domination is really silly when you think about it, and it's unfortunate, because a large part of the exhibition is very well done. In general, however, the first film is all about creating the conditions for movies ahead and do this in a satisfactory manner. All all X-Men, is definitely one of the best films superhero out there, and although it has been surpassed in the future is still stands as a true testament to Singers skill.8/10
