Review: Youthful energy. That's what it is - and what is about.Spacek, King De Palma all their exuberance most concerned. Callow sometimes, but sometimes so Rawly honest chills often quite apart from the story. See on this basis alone. De Palma's camera has a feel for dance - Scorsese does too, but De Palma's more emotional. Spacek is so pure in its actions, that scares his ability. How strange that went away, and the story follows tone poltergism. The also focus on youth and desire. Menarche as horror innocent acceptance / fear humble religion, brash director intelligent spoofing Hitchcock. Strange mix that is so strange and intriguing.
